Interview #1

Girls Eastview Soccer
Abby Lee

1. Being a captain has many responsibilities. I have to bring ice to each game, do the coin toss in the middle to see who kicks off first and, I lead warm-ups before each practice and games.
2. We don't do very much for team bonding besides pasta dinners the night before each game. Sometimes a few of us go out to eat after practice to Panera. In a few weeks we will be having a team sleepover.
3. My favorite game this season was the home game against Lakeville North. It was such a close game but we ended up fighting out our way to a win with a score of 2-1. I scored a goal!
4. To get better, during practice we do a lot of conditioning. We do 120's which is a drill that you sprint down the field and jog back in a certain amount of time. Also, we do a lot of killers at the end of practice. For fun, we play world cup which is when you and a partner have to say your country name before you score a goal and the last team to score doesn't move on to the next round.
5. I like playing soccer because I love the girls. I love being a part of a team and I love the sport because I've been playing it for so long.

Team record: 7-4-0
Practice every day from 2:45-4:45 on the Eastview soccer fields
