9/11 World Trade Center Terrorist Attack

Finally, where the World Trade Center used to stand, there is now a memorial plaza in it's place. The memorial consists of two reflecting pools with the engraved names of the 3,000 people who lost their lives that horrible day. Hundreds of Oak trees surround and fill this eight-acre memorial site. It is free to get in, but visitors must have a ticket because security is very strict at this site. Later on in the year, an underground museum will be built for further remembrance of the terrorist attacks of the World Trade Centers.
